TECHNICAL ASSOCIATE - GovPay 🚨

(The position is contract-based.)

We are looking for a Technical Associate to manage, support, and maintain the GovPay platform (www.govpay.lk). This role will involve collaborating with backend integrators, financial institutions, and government organizations to enhance the platform, implement new features, and optimize user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Monitor GovPay website performance, uptime, security, and user experience.
2. Address technical issues, bugs, and user concerns in coordination with developers and hosting providers.
3. Identify functional and technical requirements to transition the website into a fully functional web application.
4. Implement UI/UX improvements, API integrations, and security measures.
5. Conduct SEO improvements to increase visibility and engagement.
6. Perform quality assurance (QA) testing to ensure seamless functionality, security, and compliance.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
2. 1-2 years of experience in website management, web development, or IT project coordination.
3. Strong knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, CMS platforms) and API integrations.
4. Experience in UI/UX enhancements, SEO strategies, and QA processes.
5. Familiarity with payment gateways, FinTech solutions, and e-Government platforms is an advantage.
6. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
7. Ability to troubleshoot technical issues, analyze system improvements, and implement digital transformation initiatives.
8. Working experience in government projects, financial services, or digital payments.
