Primary Grade 1–3 English Medium Teacher

JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking passionate and dedicated teachers for Primary Grades 1 to 3 (English Medium) at International School in Pundaluoya and Pussellawa Branches. The ideal candidates should have a strong command of English, experience in early childhood education, and a commitment to fostering a nurturing learning environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Teach core subjects (English, Mathematics, Science, etc.) in English.
2. Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to different learning styles.
3. Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
4. Maintain discipline and create a positive classroom environment.
5. Participate in school events, workshops, and professional development programs.

WORKING DAYS:

Monday to Friday (Occasional Saturdays if required for special events)

WORKING HOURS:

7:00 AM – 3:00 PM

WORKING LOCATION: Nuwara Eliya 

Pundaluoya OR Pussellawa

QUALIFICATION:

1. Bachelor's Degree in Education (B.Ed.) or equivalent qualification in Primary Teaching.
2. Minimum of 1–2 years of teaching experience in a similar role.
3. Excellent proficiency in English (both spoken and written).
4. Strong classroom management and student engagement skills.
5. Ability to use modern teaching methods and technology in the classroom.

SALARY:

Attractive salary based on qualifications and experience. Starting from 30,000- 40,000 Basic
