JOB VACANCY - PASTRY & BAKERY CHEF
Qualifications:
- Culinary Degree or Diploma in pastry, bakery, or culinary arts.
- Experience in luxury hotel pastry or bakery kitchens, preferably as a Chef de Partie.
- Proficiency in pastry and bakery techniques, including baking, cake decorating, and dessert making.
- Creativity & Innovation in developing new recipes, designing desserts, and following industry trends.
- Attention to Detail to ensure quality and consistency in all pastry and bakery items.
- Teamwork & Communication skills to collaborate with kitchen staff and work efficiently under pressure.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Oversee the production of pastries, desserts, and baked goods to meet service requirements.
- Ensure all pastry and bakery items meet taste, presentation, and freshness standards.
- Work with the Executive Chef/Sous Chef to plan menus and special events.
- Train and supervise junior staff to maintain high performance standards.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations, maintain cleanliness, and follow proper food handling practices.
